In Texas: Vanity Theft & Daniel from The Broken Column.
Hey guys!
We’ve been in Austin, TX working on our next album. It was so much fun, we have some great new songs that we think you’ll like. We didn’t want to leave the studio by the time we were done recording.
Oh, and we played a show while we were there at Darwin’s Pub (on the right: that’s our good friend Daniel, singer of The Broken Column playing bass for our set). Thanks so much to our Texan fans and everyone who came out that night!

Having performed at SXSW and had their music featured on shows like “Entourage” to critical acclaim, siblings Kentrell “Krispy” Lindsey and Alvin “Joey” Lindsey are already on a pretty solid path to being known in what’s been described as “alt-rap.” Together as The Knux, these New Orleans-raised, L.A.-based artists meld hip-hop with an indie rock sensibility. They’ll be at DC9 along with Vanity Theft and Jordy Towers. $8. 8 p.m.
